Merino, silk and cotton: choosing your composition
The fibre defines everything: how a piece fits, breathes and ages. A short guide to our three base fibres — so your next wardrobe addition is exactly right.

Merino: warmth without weight
Fine merino fibre (18.5 micron and below) holds as much warmth as bulky acrylic at a fraction of the weight. It's non-itchy, survives city wear beautifully and barely wrinkles — perfect for everyday sweaters and slip dresses.
Silk: cool luxury
Silk is the only fibre equally at home in the office and at an evening event. It's cool to the touch, drapes beautifully and develops a soft lustre over time. We blend it with cashmere for warmer models — resulting knitwear is impossibly light yet warm.
Cotton: the honest base
Combed pima cotton is for those who want maximum ease. It survives frequent washing, keeps its shape for years and only gets softer. Our Essentials base is made from exactly that.
